The first Hasselblad model made between May 1949 and June 1950.
Because of its complicated mechanisms, many were sent back to the factory to be destroyed or modified. According to the very good book Hasselblad System Compendium by Richard Nordin, 269 Hasselblad 1600F of this first series were assembled and 153 were destroyed or retransformed into series 2. Therefore, there should exist at most only 116 cameras as this one.
